Rowing Coaching

One-to-one or group coaching is available on the water, in a state of the art rowing tank or on a rowing ergometer. Rowing coaching is available for all levels of performer from complete beginner to Scottish Team and British Championships level performer. Discounts are available for block bookings and interested parties are advised to contact Oarsome Sport & Fitness for details.

Rowing planning days are also available where the complete needs of the rower are assessed.

The format of the rowing planning day can be altered to meet the needs of he individual but will generally follow these guidelines:

• Discussion of current training and competition programme
• Agreement of competition and training goals
• Flexibility assessment on dry land, on the ergometer and in the boat
• Boat set up
• Video analysis and review of rowing technique
• Technical on-water session focusing on the major skill development requirements
• Development of first months training programme
